Winter Robin

The UK’s favourite bird! With it’s bright red breast its familiar throughout the year and especially at Christmas. Robins sing nearly all year round.

The well-known phrase, ‘When robins appear, loved ones are near’, alludes to the belief that the robin is a messenger.
