The Rolling Stones

David O’Brien’s art is becoming as iconic as his subjects. The Rolling Stones formed in London in 1962 and have been active for six decades. They are one of the most popular and enduring bands of the rock era. The original Rolling Stones lips, designed by John Pasche, was inspired by Mick Jagger’s desire to convey a tribute to the Hindu goddess, Kali. Kali was the goddess of empowerment and energy.
